Random Thoughts and Ramblings!

It's Monday morning! I know some people are happy to be get the week started of right, some are hoping the week flies quickly so the weekend will once again come around again and some are just plain depressed it's Monday! Well me? I got up this morning in pain.. my kidney stone seems to have resurfaced and has been causing me pain all morning. Thank goodness I have the painkillers just wish they were a wee bit stronger. Who knew such an infinitesimal stone could cause such pain!

So hope you guys had a great weekend. I know I did! Saturday we went to Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to one of its many beaches - our favorite - Ferradurinha! This photo is copyrighted to me! We had a fantabulous time! We also went shopping and I got great presents! A lovely dress and jewelry. Sunday was a relaxing day with a bike ride in the evening. 


I learnt some great new adjectives thanks to ladies who responded to my Adjectives article and added some really unique adjectives! For those of you who have not checked it out as yet - please do! We can all stand to learn something new! 


Okay so right now I am watching a funny show on television - Nothing to Lose (old movie with Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins so I'll cut this post short! Maybe I'll ramble some more later but right now I am just wallowing in my own pain. Pathetic I know! I am indubitably making a humongous deal about this but so what? :-)

Oh! My bad!

Ever since I got my kidney stone - Stardust - I decided I'd write a hub for Hubpages based on the information I read about kidney stones. Being a usual procrastinator I only got around to writing the hub yesterday because silly me..I wanted to write the article before World Kidney Day - March 11th. Also, March is National Kidney Month and I thought what a coincidence! I got my kidney stone in the National Kidney Month!


Well I spent some time yesterday writing about Kidney Stones just providing some information on it. Nothing to technical or laced with medical terms. Just some simple notes on Kidney Stones. I was under the impression it was the 10th March and I'd have completed the article in time for World Kidney Day! You know it's only this morning I realized it was the 12th March. I felt absolutely silly but oh well. These things happen right? Oh and today is my best friend birthday and also it is 7 years since my now husband and I started dating!


So go read up on kidney stones. This morning I wrote another article on Earn Money Online on WebAnswers through Google Adsense. If you are interested in earning money online you can check it out.

Me and my Kidney Stone - STARDUST

Hey guys,

Sorry I did not update my blog in a few days. Yesterday I had quite an adventure.. I was home minding my own business when I started getting really bad pains around my right kidney area. Well I immediately thought that maybe my appendix was going to burst or something and when the pain did not subside after about an hour my hubby and his friend came and took me and my crying self to the doctor. Long story short - turns out I have a kidney stone.. who I decided to name "Stardust" in the hopes that it disintegrates and becomes just that.... dust! Plus that's my favorite movie :-)

Well today I am going to spend my afternoon reading up all about the Kidney stone and what not to do .. I've already gotten lots of advice on facebook about drinking plenty of water so I went this morning and bought bottled water like crazy and my hubby already started buffing me about not drinking any so far.. he even made me drink a glass in front of him before I ate lunch. His threat is now - okay you don't bother to drink the water if you don't want to .. you want to go do Surgery .. is that it? :-) So cute.. I am not going to go do surgery.. I am afraid of all things medical ... like when I was on drips yesterday and the nurse had to take blood .. I screamed one time and the other I made bad facial expressions.. so no! no! surgery is not an option .. so WATER IT IS :-)

We'll let me go start reading up on the wonderful world of my kidney stone, Stardust, and let's see what happens!
